Build or buy a gaming PC in Bahrain?

Bahrain has an unusually strong custom-PC scene for a small market: Advanti, Master Productions, Caza Souq, Computia, and Games Corner all sell individual components and their own builds. That gives you real choice — and a real pricing puzzle.
Where the money goes
In any gaming build the graphics card is half the budget or more, and it is also where retailer prices vary the most — the same RTX card can differ by tens of dinars between shops in the same week. Compare the GPU across every shop before anything else; the rest of the build (CPU, motherboard, RAM, storage, power supply) varies less.
Watch the power supply and the case. Shops sometimes pair an expensive GPU with a minimal power supply to hit a headline price; a quality 80+ Gold unit costs more but protects everything else you bought.
Prebuilt versus custom
A prebuilt from a brand (HP Omen, Lenovo Legion, ASUS ROG) or a shop's own build saves you assembly, arrives with a single warranty, and is often competitively priced during promotions because the retailer buys components in volume. The downsides are less choice in individual parts and, on some branded systems, proprietary motherboards or power supplies that limit upgrades.
A custom build from a Bahrain shop — where you choose every part and they assemble it — usually lands between DIY and branded prebuilt on price, with the advantage that the shop is local for support. If you are not comfortable assembling and troubleshooting yourself, this is the sweet spot.
Do the maths per component
The only way to know whether a build is well priced is to add up its components at the best price each is available for.
